The Hub Bridge Africa is the online information and guidance platform for entrepreneurs who want to develop between Africa and Europe. This unique platform rassembles key players in the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Africa and Europe, fostering the creation of a Euro-African community dedicated to entrepreneurship by strengthening interactions between stakeholders.

More than just a website, the Bridge Africa Hub is a hybrid platform, acting as both a network of players and a digital resource. The Hub provides you with a simplified mapping of key players and technical and financial services, sorted according to your needs. It provides up-to-date, verified country information, and essential resources for understanding markets, local economies and legislation. Our orientation tool will guide you through the four phases of the entrepreneurial journey (ideation, incubation, acceleration, growth), giving you access to resources and offers tailored to each stage.

Hub Bridge Africa also encourages connection within the Euro-African community, with practical tools such as a directory of experts to facilitate contacts and partnerships, a discussion wall for online exchanges, and a shared diary to keep abreast of key events.

Our mission is to simplify your entrepreneurial journey and promote collaboration.

The Hub Bridge Africa is a collaborative and inclusive platform, and we're delighted to make it available to you: be part of the change and engage with entrepreneurship in Africa. Stay connected to the Hub of players serving Euro-Africans entrepreneurs.

The Hub's foundations

Formerly the MEET Africa Hub, the platform was designed and coordinated by ANIMA as part of the MEET Africa 2 project, implemented by Expertise France and co-financed by the European Union and Agence Française de Développement. The platform was co-constructed in collaboration with project leaders from the African diaspora in France and public and private entrepreneurial support professionals. It responds to the needs identified by all these stakeholders during a series of 7 ideation workshops organized between July 2021 and March 2022.

Organizations supporting entrepreneurship in the African diaspora, members of the network of players associated with the Hub, are participating/have participated in the animation and development of the platform thanks to the establishment of participative governance. They also contribute to the expansion of the network by promoting the community to other relevant players on the continent.

The Bridge Africa brand stems from a program financed by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and piloted by Business France and ANIMA between 2021 and 2023, REA Bridge Africa, which aimed to network entrepreneurs on the African continent and connect them with French ecosystems.

Since 2023, ANIMA has applied the Bridge Africa brand to several entrepreneurial support programs between France and Africa, supported in particular by the Aix-Marseille Metropolis, the City of Marseille and the Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur Region. The Hub Bridge Africa is one of the tools at the service of these programs. Its aim is twofold: to promote Marseille and the surrounding region as a hub for entrepreneurs from the diaspora in Africa, and to support African entrepreneurs by guiding them towards the markets of southern Europe from Marseille and its ecosystem.
